Urinary Disorders

Get rid of all kidney problems naturally through ayurvedic treatment

The urinary system is made up of the kidneys, ureter, urethra and bladder and is responsible for flushing out toxins and wastes from our body. According to Ayurveda, there are 13 kinds of Mutraghata (urinary issues). Disorders of the urinary system may be as simple as a burning sensation while urinating or involve infection or complicated problems like kidney stones, bladder cancer or inflammation of the kidneys. Urinary irregularities can also occur due to underlying metabolic disorders.

Diseases we manage

Kidney Stones

Kidney stones are created due to the crystallisation of minerals and wastes found in urine. The size of a stone may be of a pinhead and can be passed unnoticed through urine, or it may be big, up to grapefruit’s size and may block the urinary pathway, causing severe pain and bleeding while passing urine.

Cystitis

The inflammation of the urinary bladder is cystitis, which is mainly caused by infection and is generally accompanied by painful urination. Some of its symptoms are frequent urge to urinate, severe abdominal pain, blood in urine and a fish-like smell in the urine.

Prostatitis

The prostate (walnut-sized gland) is situated between the pubic bone and the rectum. Only males have a prostate. The urethra is surrounded by the prostate at the urinary bladder opening and it plays a crucial role in processing semen. An inflammation of the prostate is called prostatitis, which occurs with natural ageing. Painful urination, an urgency to urinate, post-urination dribbles and involuntary urination at night are some of its common symptoms.

Chronic kidney disease

Chronic kidney or renal disease involves severe kidney damage that may worsen over time. It may not become obvious till your kidney function is impaired significantly. Your kidneys may not function if the damage is terrible. This damage is called kidney failure and at this stage, you will require dialysis or a kidney transplant. Some of the early signs of this disease are muscle cramps, itching, nausea, loss of appetite and sleep issues.
